About LinkBacksI'm guessing some here have a iTMS US account and I'm dying to know if you've downloaded any TV show from iTMS? How is the quality in full screen mode? For those who want a legitimate source downloadable TV shows this is a God send.

I downloaded both episodes of Night Stalker, quality is pretty good .File size is 200+ meg though.All in all cheap for the price and the original show in the 70's was one of my personal favorites.

yup, got night stalker too. very good quality. was going to try and play it on my treo but the DRM thing pala won't let it be copied onto an SD card--although i copied it on a USB thumb drive with no problem, to share it between two macs (ITMS allows you to authorize up to 5 macs to play it).

i downloaded 4 episodes of Lost season 2 so far...
DARNED ADDICTIVE! It's this instant gratification thing lah!
As noted above, size is rather large, quality on my powerbook 15" (full screen) is somewhere like VCD quality, but IMHO slightly better... but not DVD standard of course.

There is actually a great article related to your question on TUAW, the unofficial Apple blog. It discusses video quality, compared to other plays and even watching it TV. Also discusses some of the DRM issues also brought up in this post.

Watching of iMovie Projects? Possible? Will it be possible for one to sync imovie projects into the new video ipod and watch them too? How is it done?

iMovie? sure!
just make our imovie, then:
1. File > Share...
2. Quicktime, Expert Settings, <click on> Share
3. Select Export: Movie to iPod (320 x 240)
That's it!
you need to have QuickTime 7.0.3 to work the above.

Re: TV Shows from iTMS My family hooked up my ipod to a projecter so we could view a couple of downloaded TV shows and the quality was great! Even when it was blown up to a big screen.
The best thing about downloading TV shows from the iTunes store is that they've got a wide selection of shows (even the obscure ones are up there). They give away a lot of pilots for free too!
