    Default help: DCR-IP220E driver for mac

    i was helping my sister with her video project when i found out that my powerbook doesn't have a driver for our cam. does anyone here know where i can download it. my sis really needs it tomorrow, our cam is a sony DCR-IP220E

    we would really appreciate your help.

    yup, seen that too. i was just hoping to find a driver. medyo desperado na kasi kagabi.. hehe.. i was telling pa naman to my sister how hassle free it is to plug a harware to a mac without installing driver and stuff since she's using a pc. i think i better get a new cam nalang that would be compatible with my powerbook. any suggestions?

    Oh man that sux big time.. I always though a FW camera would always be Mac compatible... so I guess I have to make sure next time I'm in the market for a camcorder. Luckily my current one works fine on Mac or PC.

    yes i know, and its really not worth the money since we bought it for more than 60k at that time. i was expecting more from a camera within that price range that's why i was really surprised when i found out that it doesn't support mac. what a waste :sigh:

    You can refer to this site for a list of Mac OS X supported camcorders. HTH.

    By the way, there is a solution to the former problem (transferring video from the IP220E). It was mentioned in this thread.
