Help in Conversion!

Guys,

I have converted a Digital 8 tape to DVD via Roxio and notice that when the camera pans, may lagging na naiiwan sa mga images. HIndi siya pino as like others.

What is the cause of this and what can I do to rectify this problem?

Hey Archie. It would help if you provided a bit more detail. What specific software did you use? What particular connection (USB or Firewire)?

Hi there!!

1. I captured it via firewire using FCP
2. Then directly converted it to DVD using Toast (roxio) (which umabit ng kung ilang oras...super bagal!)


Now, when I played it in my dvd player, nag la-lag nga. Parang naiiwan yung images when the camera pans.

And also, how can I make yung encoding to DVD ng roxio eh mas bumilis pa? I leave it overnight just to convert it. And super tagal talaga...

For Roxio Toast 7, use the "best" quality in the left drawer but this will take a longer time to burn - hours to infinity.... (actually its the encoding part (2-3hrs) and burn time is usually 20 mins)
But if you want a shorter burn period, set it to good.

when you captured using FCP, for sure you exported the video right? what format did you use in exporting it?

No I did not. I just directly converted it using roxio.
