    Default converting .vob files

    hey guys how do we convert .vob files into .avi. i amde a wrong dvd and i no longer have the raw video. i ripped the video from the dvd using mactheripper. now i don't know how can i use the .vob files i got to re-redit it again to make another dvd. i used imovie and idvd for the previous movie and dvd. i am open to suggestions. thanks guys!

    Use ffmpegX. I suggest you reencode the whole VIDEO_TS folder though, not just the individual VOB files.

    i have a question. does handbrake copy dvds and convert them into a .avi files. i cant seem to make mine work that way. it keeps on hanging up on me during the process.

    I use trusted VLC to convert . VOB files.
    Design. Images. Usability.

    I haven't tried using the converted file (.mpg and .avi files) in iMovie or iDVD yet. It works well with Flash but one thing though, QuickTime won't play it so it does follow I guess in iMovie.

    even with any of the codecs used? what vid editing software can use the converted files so i can rbing them back to dvd format?
