Congratulations on your films acceptance, Potemkin.

An easy fix is to record in LP - thats 90 min on a regular mini-dv tape, if your recorder can do it. Thats easier said than done, though, because you have to record on an older cam (VX2100) or a consumer cam.

An 80 min DV tape might be impossible to find locally.

There IS a longer-than-60 min miniDV tape, although my addled brain can't recall if its 70 or 80 min. Regardless, I have never seen one anywhere, not in the US or HK, so it may have never achieved market penetration.

Nope. Just in 60min, and the 90min is the slower LP mode recording. AND many of us record in DVCam, which is just 40 min.

About eight years ago they announced a longer tape, but as we said earlier we can't seem to find it anywhere.
