3D software?

Folks...i'm trying to learn how to make 3D stuff....just for logos and basically just to impress prospective clients in my presentations and the like....hehe

....unfortunately i don't have a copy of motion 2 which is the only thing that will run on my mb.....i hear is easy to use (daw)...anyway....can anyone out there recommend other 3D software that are easy to use? I d/l this one called blender...its open source...but I cant seem to find templates anywhere....suggestions? :slanted:

Try KINEMAC. You can get it in version tracker. It's a demo version and to really use it, you have to buy a license.

Try Xara 3d very userfriendly and easy to use. runs on windows though..

Maya is a great 3D software but its quite difficult. PCCI gives seminar on this type of program. it will cost you 14K though. you can make anything you like on 3D. visit their site: www.pcci.com.ph

There is Blender for Mac OS X. The resources page is here. Blender can import templates from other 3d programs.

Free and Open Source, and very highly rated. Work done with Blender.

thanks everyone...just installed blender...but everything looks so..uhm...what's the word...ah yes..."boolean" to me...hehe...its like writing in kling-on...hehe...but thanks for the help...will...try xara and kinemac also...i tried out after effects but let's just say...i got nowhere...haha....thanks again!
