ViewIt question

I'm thinking of purchasing ViewIt. I was wondering what the finder preview action is supposed to do.

I assume it's to create a preview image on finder but the screen dialog box makes you choose multiple sizes. Where does ViewIt actually create the previews. I tried picking the different sizes but it seems the preview image does not really change.

Before making a purchase decision, as an alternative, you might wish to check out (if you haven't already) -- Photo Mechanic and iViewMediaPro. I regularly use both.

I would Phoenix slides. Its free and really fast.
