Is the Nikon ml-l3 remote available locally?

Is the Nikon ml-l3 remote available locally? I want to use it with my D70. At $16.95, it looks like an ideal accessory. :P

try columbia mktg also! Though i don't know if they'll be any help! NIKON SERVICE HERE SUUUUUUCKS! pero was able to find a rubber eyecup for my d 100 from them so who knows.

i'm using a d70s, and this remote will permit me to take bulb shots without touching the camera and risking shake, right? does anyone use it for this purpose too? (am assuming it'll be one click on the remote to release the shutter, and another to close it.)

I got mine around June in Columbia Photo for around PhP1,150, although I think you can find it in Hidalgo for around PhP850-950...

yup.. its works with bulb.. first click opens the shutter second one closes it.. works with mine..
just remember to watch the LCD.. sometimes its hard to tell whether you activated it.. and wasted minutes..
