The only sub 20D features are 3fps, and less than 9 focus points.

Planning on a 20D, 300D or a D70? Hold your horses!

This will be priced at the same or even a bit lower than the current 300D, knowing Canon pricing habits, count on that.

So I'd say, if Lesley (Canon PH) will be very nice to us, it would be in the 52K - 55K range... (hula lang to...)

Tama pala yung rumor ko dati...pero wala pa yung 350D...i wonder if they'll rename it like the 300D na may Digital Kiss at Digital Rebel...

8.0megapixels...so they are not using the same sensor as that on the 20D/20Da...hmmm...bat kaya? 10D and 300D had the same sensors i think...

Around 10% lighter and 25% smaller in volume...paliit ng paliit a...and a new battery grip (BG-E3)...the perfect grip feel for me is still the 10D...

I don't think it'll be that much cheaper, but they probably will keep it at that 'magic' price point. Any lower and it might cannibalize their consumer & prosumer market.

In any case, this is very interesting because for a while I was in fact eyeing the Pentax *ist DS for its compact size and light weight - except it was a totally new system.

Now, with this, I can keep using my existing Canon lenses & accesories, but get a lighter, more compact, higher resolution camera (even if it's not as ruggedly built as the 10D).

According to your dpreview link, $899 is body only. If I remember correctly, the 300D kit had an introductory of $1,000 so I guess its almost the same. My guess is it will be sold here at around P60,000 kit and P50,000 body only.
