to the TS, my first camera was Canon, then a Sony and then went back to Canon. I just prefer the image quality that comes out of Canon cameras.

There are a lot of very helpful threads here, some even comparing brands and models outright. That's the reason why I now consider the LX5.

i know the feeling i was looking into getting the lx5 until i saw pictures of the gf1 users in here! ang gaganda lahat eh. this is one of the few sites that has a whole lot of talented people!

yup, mainly because of sir daniel's shots in the lx3 thread, i got myself one (but now i'm using a s95 hehe ). go buy na the lx5 & start shooting! then you'll be almost famous

thanks for all the advice. for the mean time I borrowed my sister's Nikon D40 for the week.

hopefully before this year ends, I'll be able buy a new decent camera/dslr.

hello, i'll be in singapore for the great singapore sale. any advice where to buy gf1/gf2? also, do they have terms when I use visa CC i.e. 6 mos 0% plus GST...? does panny cover an international warranty? TIA
