Default My unexpected tribute to Henri Cartier Bresson

Fine, it was a lucky accident, but I can't get over the similarity nonetheless.

Here's Bresson's iconic picture "Behind the Gare Saint Lazare", the image that most people associate with HCB's concept of "the decisive moment".

And here's my photo of the Le Mans-style start of the 24 Hours of Speedzone endurance race last weekend ...

Hahahah, good one. For the life of me, I can't imagine Bresson hammering away with an EOS-1D Mark II :P

    Sigma 15-30mm at 15mm.

f/3.5, ISO 800, shutter speed of around 1/2000th.

Yeah yeah yeah... I spun out so many times that the marshalls were starting to follow me around the track. :P It's just TOO tempting to try to slide around the corners, eh! Can you blame me??

BTW, I love the shot that Vic took of the LeMans start. Good thing he took his camera out of his wife's hands at that point of the race!
