Interesting. This is the first time I've seen an SLR capable of doing movies. There must be a mode where the mirror is locked in the UP position.

Not sure it was shot with the mirror up, this looks like the whole sequence was shot one by one, then put together in post. I used to work for a german director who shot ads this way. He hired me to print several sequences shot on 35mm film. the prints were then shot again with an animation camera to make it look like it was shot on film but in a 'choppy' sort of way.
As for the Indiana Jones tunnel sequence, this was done with the F3 with the mirror up and a film back attached to it that would handle th film reel. Since it was shot in miniature the F3 was the only way they could fit a camera into the set
