Have you tried looking at the For Sale section in this (and other) Forums? I see them auctioned off by pawnshops from time to time. How about the photo/video shops at around Hidalgo(?) in Quaipo?

The Powershot G5 is a good buy. sascoordinator, you might also want to consider the canon ixus series.
