Ilocos Photo Trip
Came from an exciting vacation to the tip of Luzon last week of May. Pagudpud is so beautiful. It's all in here

Great pics, Cooles!
I brought my family there two years ago and our kids still remember everything! Esp. the food -- empanada, bagnet, pinakbet, and all other Ilocano delicacies!!!
Can't wait to go there again!

Thanks for all the comments guys. It was my first time to Ilocos.
@Randy, next photo trip in Ilocos ha, didn't know you were Ilocano pala. You'll be our tour guide this time
There are lots of places I want to go next time. Vigan is next probably.
@Mykolant, haven't eaten that much yummy pinakbet, and there were only two us there.
@Miko, we stayed at Polaris, its a good resort to bring your family. The staff are friendly, and has a homey resto that resembles a large living room area. The food there is inexpensive. Best of all, they don't charge corkage but only a minimal cooking fee if you bought food from the market.
@Carlo, by land is 8 hours to Laoag from Manila. And another 45 min to Pagudpud. By air, you can take PAL to Laoag for only an hour. We only took the plane back to Manila. So am not quite certain on the travel arrangements from Laoag airport to Pagudpud. There are coach transfers to Fort Ilocandia though which is only 20 mins away from the airport.
Pagudpud has vast, rich landscapes and I found myself shooting almost all my pics at 18mm (29mm), much so that am now salivating over an EF-S 10-22 or the 17-40L which are in the same price range. Could have an even better shot at the Kaibigan Falls with either of those 2 lenses. The EF 16-35 f/2.8 L USM would probably be da bomb!
