Default Fashion Photography Workshop @ PCCI

The Dominique James Haute Couture & RTW Fashion Photography Workshop @ PCCI

Learn how to take stunning fashion photographs with either professional and amateur male and female models. Study the visual elements that make up for great fashion photographs. Find out how you can bring out the best of both haute couture and RTW fashion statements and styles. In this modern fashion photography workshop, professional photographer Dominique James reveals a number of important techniques and styles as well as hints and tips that will enable you to create wonderful fashion images. Distilling his working experience of more than 15 years, Dominique James will touch on all aspects of creating visually compelling fashion photographic images. This includes: clothing designs, hair-and-makeup, styling, background and backdrops, lighting, posing techniques, motivating the models, among others.

One of the special highlights this 2-day workshop is the presence of three notable fashion industry insiders who have been invited as special guest speakers to share their experiences and expertise in their respective specialized areas of fashion photography. These are fashion designer Barge Ramos, hair-and-makeup artist and stylist Ricci Chan, and fashion stylist Frederick Sy. Each of them will provide insights into the workings of fashion and in photographing fashion. A question-and-answer forum will follow after each talk.

The best part of the workshop, and under the direct creative and artistic guidance of Dominique James, all participants will have the opportunity to directly apply the many techniques and style as well as the tips and hints when photographing four (4) male and female commercial supermodels from CalCarrie International. Each participant will have the opportunity to create professional grade, world-class, and portfolio-quality fashion photographs.

This workshop is supported by Epson (Stylus Pro 7600), Globis (Monaco Optix, X-Rite, Lasersoft Imaging, SilverFast DC Pro, EFI), ATI (Wacom, Graphire, Intuous.3), Ynzal Marketing, PixelMagic, CalCarrie International, Runway Productions, Airborne Access, Propaganda, and Xyon.
