Default Fashion Photography Out-Takes (pix!!!) [skin warning]

Ok, now that I have your attention...

Here are some new photos I took over the weekend under the watchful eye of the fabulous Dominique James.

This is Eri from CalCarrie Models Philippines.

Click on any image below to go to the full gallery.

Any comments would be much appreciated.

    Thank you very much.
    Randy

    PS:
I used a Canon EOS 10D and an EF50mm F1.8 MkI lens 98% of the time. The other 2%, I used an EF17-40F4.0L USM lens. For the lights, I used several Broncolor MiniPulsC80 from Dominique James. Some using available light from the Bronco modelling lights.

the big bang for the buck 50mm 1.8 I believe? Great shots Randy. I knew I should have brought my camera when I dropped by.

Here's a tip to some of you who might find yourselves in the same situation. That is, there are several photographers shooting the same model at the same time, but only one of them (not you) has the slave trigger to the strobes. But you want to shoot well exposed shots too. Set your camera to aperture 11 or more, whatever is needed, then set your shutter speed to bulb setting. Then try to estimate when the guy with the trigger will shoot, fire yours ahead. Once he fires the strobes, you can let go. You'll still get reasonably sharp, well-exposed shots. Kinda like piggy back shooting.

There's a photographer, living and working in New York City, that takes photographs of fashion. He's in his eighties now and his name is Irving Penn. I would urge anyone interested in fashion photography to Google him up.
