Does anybody know of additional Soundtrack loops? And is there a crossfade (between, in/out) within Soundtrack?

I think there is a way to import Garage Band loops into Soundtrack? There's a new set of JamPacks available also - http://www.apple.com/ilife/garageband/jampacks/

Yes there is. Use Apple's Loop Browser and point to the folder where you have the Jam Pack sound files installed. I have Jam Packs 1 to 3 and use them with Soundtrack.

you can put 2 tracks on and just use their volumes to add that "crossfade" effect...
