musician's aid software?
i used to have a program in windows called "musicians aid" where you can mark a region and just have it repeated over and over again. it helps in practising a certain part of the song. is there a software in mac like this, if not better?
what do you use to practice a song?

Re: musician's aid software?
i think you can do this through quicktime pro. there are 2 triangles that appear at both ends of the tracking window when you open a song thru quicktime. drag these triangles to the part of the song you want to limit. then just like what we do with pictures, crop the song. then set quicktime to play it in a loop. voila! the part of the song you want to repeat over and over is in your hands. you can even import the cropped song into iTunes and have it repeat over and over.

I believe GarageBand has this feature. It's called Cycle Region Area.
It's also the same tool used to make ringtones for the iPhone. Check it out.
As another option, you can use iTunes. Ctrl-Click/Right Clcik your track, Go to Info, then Options,
Set the start time and end time. Then set the song to play "Repeat 1".
