GPO and Digital Performer 5
I have just recently shifted from Sonar 6 to Digital Performer 5. Although I'm quite new in the Mac business, I think I'm in pretty good shape. I'm having some difficulty though running my Garritan Personal Orchestra as a virtual instrument. It's being recognized by Digital Performer and I can actually write music. I have all the updates loaded as well. Problem is, for some reason the indiviual faders of loaded instruments in the GPO instrument track don't seem to work. I move the fader for a particular instrument up and down...but nothing happens. The only way I can make changes in volume is by movinh the main GPO instrument fader...which affects all the loaded instruments under it. Or I would have to go to the V-rack and make the changes there - which is quite tedious. I should be able to make individual instrument changes in volume, pan, etc in the Mix window, right? All the other virtual instruments don't have this problem. It's just the GPO.
I'd appreciate it a lot it if someone could help me with this.
Thanks = )

Re: GPO and Digital Performer 5
have you tried instead automating the faders in the plug in itself? i have the same problem with native instrument kontakt based instrument plug ins. when u click on an instrument, the whole window comes up right? on the upper left hand corner there's a small button with a letter A in it. click on it and u will have options to read and write/record automation data. it should read whatever fader or button data during playback.
