garageband tutorial

is there anyone here in manila who teaches garageband software? and how much, if ever?

i want to polish my skills.

and also, if anyone teaches traktor dj software. i want to learn that as well.

I believe Elbert was offering tutorials on mac software before, perhaps you can PM him. Watch out also for the monthly tutorials from powermac center.

yeah,, watch the iLife video (overview) tutorial, and the garageband tutorials...

If any one of you will go to powermac in case they hold a free seminar dedicated to garageband, PM and/or update me,, I'll be there too

Sir cryptonomikon, I don't have any questions or wanting to learn yet, since garageband is so user-friendly. So user-friendly that I don't want to try Ableton Live yet.

I just think that I need a formal training/seminar/tutorial/workshop because I used to this kind of process. Maybe because I'm an accountant, where seminar certificates are important for career advancement, hehe

Another reason why i need Garageband seminar is to know other things I may don't know that garageband can do, specially when it comes to making songs.

But I'm also interested in watching/observing or even helping others do their things in garageband. It that way, I can also learn..

Since others (such as ivndg and loungeroomlizard) are interested, why not have a "sharing" (not online) regarding garageband or other music software?

btw, I'm located near lasalle taft.

another btw, I've been to a Powermac seminar, about Leopard, and everything discussed by the speaker can also be watched in the guided video tutorial in apple website. The only thing I've learned in that seminar is that the Spotlight can also be used as a Calculator, hehe. That's all. So my suggestion, if you have watched garageband video tutorial (or other tutorials) in the Apple website, no need to go to Powermac free seminars.

Anyone from local//:e can help you learn production & DJ-ing... We mainly use Ableton Live, Traktor & Serato. Garageband is easy to be learned & taught. I'm talking with Cooles then with Elbert for a day of tutorials soon. Will post soon...
