Drum pads with Garageband
Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone had any experience using drum pads like Yamaha's DD55 with Garageband. Any input will be a big help, thanks!

i haven't tried the yamaha but i use the m audio trigger finger with garageband. if the yamaha is recognized by garageband then you shouldn't have a problem with assigning stuff to it.

Wow, that's a cool-looking pad. Looks pretty smart too. I'd get that but, being a drummer, I'd like to use sticks too as well as finger taps. The DD55C really seems to fit the bill. It's available here at Yamaha music stores. I tried one myself and it's pretty decent. The button-like pedals would need getting used to because they dont feel like drum pedals at all. I wonder if any MUGger bought one for GB. Would be nice to have a review. The price is a little steep at around Php 18k. Thanks Travism!

Re: Drum pads with Garageband
any time slacker... i also am a drummer and rhythm is perty important too with DJ-ing. i have to option to use sticks with my trigger but the beautiful part of this machine is a can adjust the sensitivity of the pressure on each pad so it can sound like i'm aqlso using sticks.
