Connecting a korg keyboard (was Help with connections)
I own a macbook and a korg keyboard i just dont know how to connect the two can anybody help me?

if your keyboard model has built-in USB, i believe you can just connect it to a USB port on your Mac and it should work.. if it doesn't then you might need some drivers..

If your Korg doesn't have USB, you'll need a midi interface that connects to your Mac via USB. The chain would be Korg -> Midi Interface -> Mac. HTH

My Korg is connected via an M-audio Firewire 410 audio interface. But there are other audio interfaces you can use as well. This takes care of getting the analog signal into my Mac.
You can also use that Korg as a MIDI controller just by buying a MIDI to USB adapter. The M-audio MIDI Sport UNO is available in JB Music for about P3500 I think.
