Hi dinx! There are a lot of software out there. What kind of DJ software do you need? I use PCDJ Red on my PC.

I need something like the Hardware Djs are using. with pitch control, beatmatching , cutoff filter,, something like that . Is DJ-1800 ok? thanks

please do not use DJ-1800. it does not work well with some audio interfaces like M-Audio Firewire 410 and it also does not work well with the latest Mac OS. the audio breaks up! i had just wasted like $60 on this program. It also does not have MIDI learn, you have to find a controller whose control numbers can be changed to match the ones assigned in the program. But in a positive note, it has the best emulation of a dual rack mount CD player. all the controls can be assigned to the laptop keys.

hi guys!

curious lang.. im just using an ibook. let's say i'm using djay... how can i have a monitor of the other song for me to know if the beat is right?

right now what i do is just plug my headphone sa headphone jack but i can't see any setting for me to have a monitor?

please help.. thanks!

i dont know about this program, but it should be able to assign your outputs, even just left mono channel for deck 1 and right mono channel for deck 2. in this setup, if you split the signals into 2 pairs of RCA, you can connect them into the 2 channels of a DJ mixer and use their cue buttons to monitor your decks.

hi mazinger!

should i have some kindof devices or cables to do it? i tried to check the settings but i can't find any settings that would let me spilt the audio from both deck..
