I 'm a longtime user of MOTU sequencers (Performer and Digital Performer for the last 12 years or so) but I shifted to Logic Pro about two months ago and I'm never going back to DP.

I love it!

Logic user here too, although I shuffle back and forth between Logic and Ableton Live. I use Logic to lay down songs but use Ableton Live when doing live literally.

me too, a long time user of DP4, but my problem now is logic seemed to behaving erraticaly for my mabook pro. maybe i guess Apple is trying to make an update to that. it just pissed me off...

logic pro seems to be running a lot better on my mac book pro than my desktop. what problems are you having? then again, i only have one third party plug in running on my portable as compared to a whole lot on my g5.... you running any other plugs aside from the ones that came with logic on your mac book pro?

i haven't upgraded yet to 7.2.1, they're in transit i guess. but yah i've got some problems right now..."system overload". but one night i tried recording for 9 audio and 3 Softhsynths tracks. i even extend it up to 143 bars w/o using the loops, and also tried 97 plug-ins. it worked!
no, i don't have 3rd party plug-ins...
