    Default problem importing into freehand

when i import a tiff into freehand - all looks good - until i print and my image and it looks pixelated.

when i print the same image from photoshop - it looks great.

does anyone know how to fix this freehand problem? i don't know what i am doing wrong.
all of my printer settings are on best photo quality, etc.

    thanks -

    that's an old freehand bug

Just go to Freehand's Preferences, Go to Redraw and then select Full on the "Sen on-screen image resolution"

Yep, weird that the on-screen image resolution changes the print out resolution as well haha

Kelvin, THANK YOU for that reply. I have been going nuts trying to solve this exact same problem and had exhausted all my resources. You have really helped a lot!!

Oh, wow! Freehand holdovers. And I thought I was the only one, with everybody else going Illustrator. hehe.

Truth is even after a year, I'm still trying to get the hang of Illustrator. I'd always be trying to convert documents to Freehand. Just wondering how long it will last.

I still think the "old" Freehand offers greater precision controls and more powerful print engine than the "new" Illustrator. So there! — La lang, gusto ko lang ibulalas. hehe, end of rant.
