Default opening pfb files or converting them to somethinig useable

Hi Guys, i am yet in a dilemma, does anyone here know any program to open or at least convert a .pfb file to .ttf or any font format recognized by mac? please help

sorry if it is not in the right category but i thought since it's related to fonts and fonts are related to art.. (indirectly) i thought i'd post it here.

Any help would greatly be appreciated

    Default CrossFont

CrossFont is a shareware Windows app that fits the bill.

Oh. I thought that since you wanted to convert PC fonts into Mac format, you meant that you actually had access to a PC (where the PC fonts are located), thus you could use Crossfont on the PC to convert.

You mean you have PC fonts backed up into your Mac?
