Bored photoshop wanabee

hi guys. Anyone can recommend a class or tutorials to polish my Photoshop skills and eventually do some sideline works as graphic artist. I'm working for our family business and I find plenty of free time off my day. I'd like to consider doing some graphic sidelines of theres any.

Adobe Studio is a good place to start. You can also get books on Photoshop. I've tried the Classroom in a book series of adobe and it's good. There are other great books but their titles escape me right now. Data Blitz offers a good selection of books that you can choose from.

Alternatively, If you're interested in making money on the side, we'll soon be offering classess for animation (tv animation, the cartoon type). You can either be an animator, lay out artist or a background artist. I personally do backgrounds for cartoons on the side. We use either photoshop or flash depending on the cartoon. The good thing here is that once you finish the course we already have an animation company partner that is willing to take students who did well. You can either work part time or full time depeding on your schedule.

chairman, thanks for the reply. I'll take your advice, l'll look at Adobe studio website.
As for the class your offering soon, i'm inerested in that. When will you start the class? where?

Classess will start sometime late october or early november. It's probably going to be in tektite, if we close the deal for the office space.

...or you could visit the Computer Arts website for some more advanced photoshop tips. great for just playing around with different effects and stuff. i love this site! :love: it has tips on 3D, animation, and DTP as well.
