    Question Auto-increment in Adobe Illustrator

I used to do my design stuff with CorelDraw (on a PC) until I switched to a Mac more than a year ago. Since then, I've been using Adobe Illustrator instead of CorelDraw.

Is there a way for me to insert fields that automatically increment in Adobe Illustrator? In CorelDraw I used to do it with the "print-merge" function. I need to put ticket numbers, and I'm hoping there's an easier way of doing it instead of doing it manually.

    Thanks in advance!

I suggest you use InDesign's Data Merge Feature for this.
