Hiya... It's not for me actually, it's my friend who's asking. But I'll find out where he got his software!

hi chinggay! although i haven't used vectorworks but I'm familiar with other programs like solidworks, pro-engineer, etc. i know that beginners usually look for ways to train themselves, and desperate to learn.
but since you've asked, the best way to get tutorials is to do a google search. like "vectorworks tutorial"
another is to visit the websites, typically they have support pages. and fortunately i've dug up some relief for you. here try out these pages, search for tutorial and examples:

enjoy!

Hi chinggay,
I've been a Vectorworks (Minicad) user since version 5. I would gladly teach your friend the basics but I not so sure I can find the time to do it at a regular basis. If he has the software installed in a laptop, we can probably do the tutorial sessions at my home office here in QC.
Please email me at ariel@alampay.com if you have any other details to discuss.

The local distributor of Vectorworks is Macromind. You can probably inquire about their pricelist at their Megamall shop, 3rd floor level.
