Hi, is there an official measurement on how to draw the mono colored Apple logo (like proportion of the shape of stem, what angle it should be, etc)?
God bless,
Alvin

You shouldn't even be measuring it. Just in case you didn't know, the logo is copyrighted.
Yeah, it's copyrighted.
What are you planning to do with the logo? :x:
Calm down. To try to duplicate it how it was made, just for the sake of it, a challenge. There's a thread that asks something like that I believe.
What you are looking for is the "Corporate Identity Guidebook"
There is usually some kind of excerpted .pdf file of Apple Corporate Identity Guidelines in the marketing CDs sent to resellers and distributors.
This usually means you can't get it unless you're doing some kind of official work for Apple.
But, then someone might have posted something about it online... http://www.google.com
If you plan to trace it, it shouldn't be hard. Use freehand or any vector program. Judging from your post in the Chrome Logo threadm you pretty much know what to do na e.
However, just for the sake of answering your post, there are two ways to obtain the apple logo:
1. First is through Freehand/illustrator,
Use Gomi's suggestion, option-shift-k (Using the text tool). Then convert it to paths/curves. Group it, and resize any size you want, but remember to hold the shift while transforming to maintain proportion. And voila, you now have a Vector image of Apple. You can even fill it with any color.
2. The second way is if you're using photoshop. Go to apple's press releases page and download the press images that has the apple logo, like the TIGER BOX. Once downloaded, open the tiff file in photoshop. While there, you will find the apple logo in PATHS form. So there, you now have the apple logo in photoshop. Just transform and resize it and make it into a selection, fill it with any color you want.
That's all. Simple diba?
However, don't use this illegally. Copyright infringement is bad.

Thanks. The identity guidebook, I remember that. Damien, btw did you do or anyone from here that south park sort of local version between commercial breaks on Channel 23? Not much just curious. It's cool.
...and yet you manage to take your own thread off topic. RE: South Park, use the search function, it's very easy to use.Originally posted by Alvin777
