Default Software recommendation to see signal strength of wifi

Is there any 3rd party software that monitors the signal strength of wifi while using the ibook with an APE card?

    Thanks

    Hi Macmon,

You have several options to choose from:

    Airport Management Utility
    AP Grapher
    KisMAC
    MacStumbler

    Good luck! ;-)

I'm not sure if it has everything that you need but have you checked out iStumbler?

I believe you can download it at Apple.com. And it's freeware, if I'm not mistaken.

    Hope this helps.

I personally use Macstumbler. Seems to be fairly accurate.

iStumbler may also be sourced from versiontracker. There's even a GPS plug-in available for it.

They're two different apps, MACMON. Since they're both freeware, you have a free hand to check them out & see which best serves your purpose.

    Good luck!

Just got myself a USB GPS receiver. (ordered it from rayming.com) I'm going to go wardriving later today and plot out the networks on a map! woohoo!

I'll show it to you @ Chili's later today.
