    Default setup for wrt54g

    Got a linksys wrt54g router.

Is it possible to connect already via LAN cable 3 windows desktops and my ibook to establish a network already BUT without having the DSL connection yet. Since the DSL installation will be next week.

Any links on the setup up is greatly appreciated.

    thanks

Yes it is possible to connect everything since it's a router/switch. :nerd:

i've been experiencing some minor problems with my internet connection (currently, my setup includes a PC, 2 airport-equipped macs, pldt mydsl and a linksys wrt54g router). sometimes, i am unable to browse the internet even though the login status on the router's console indicates "connected". what i usually do is click disconnect then connect again and that does the trick. is there something i should check on my router's settings to fix this annoying problem? heaps of thanks to anyone who can help!

If my assumption is correct, then it's got nothing to do with your router settings. :-) I think it's just PLDT myDSL in action. A lot of myDSL users are still experiencing intermittent connections. Haven't had the same problem for around 3 weeks now but my connection is still capped at 256Kbps (should be 384Kbps). PLDT's currently performing some "upgrades" daw. Grrr.
