About LinkBackspldt mydsl repair guys are coming to my mom's place this tuesday to check on our lately crappy dsl connection. is it ok if i just leave the linksys router connected to the modem or should i disconnect it?
disconnecting it and hiding the wire that connects my sister's pc can be quite a hassle.

Should be ok. I just had my PLDT DSL connected last thursday and the guy didn't seem to mind that I had 2 PCs and 2 Macs connected to a router
Though they'll probably want to be able to disconnect the modem from the router and connect it directly to their laptop while troubleshooting.

Is it the same with an extension for your PLDT Residential Line?

Yeah, they would'nt care if there are 2, 3 or 4 computers connected to a router.
In fact they even suggested I use one when I first connected 2001 if I wanted to share the connection.
