pldt mydsl horror story
que horror, the pldt guys came over and as they were checking i have been paying for a professional plan when the speed that they have assigned to me all along was for a personal plan. Only this month have they requested for an upgrade. ohmygoodness. I dont know what's going to happen next but boggling is that last year before this brouhaha my speed was ok and when they announed the upgrade last november I am getting a 276 kbps speed. hmmn. I just hope I do get a major rebate on this.
And they are also saying that the professional subscribers are back to 256 kbps and the personal to 128 kbps.
Even the pldt service people who came over admitted they are not informed regarding this matter.

Score one for the PLDT NOC guys. Seems like they've been going after the "worst service ever" trophy all along.

Nope, that's inaccurate (kinda expected coming from PLDT service people). It's still 384Kbps for myDSL Pro and 256Kbps for myDSL Personal. The problem is that it has been 256Kbps for both for the past few weeks (another score for PLDT). myDSL Pro only got back the extra 128Kbps this morning.
The thing about PLDT is that it's pretty consistent: consistently good or consistently bad. I've had a couple of years of smooth sailing with myDSL Pro until all the drama began a few weeks ago. I just hope everything's okay with my connection now.
