    Default Pismo and WLAN

    just a simple question:

will the PCMCIA wireless LAN for PCs work in a Pismo? will it enable the Pismo to go wireless and somehow replace the airport card?

    TIA

yup, it's a question of drivers. i used an engenius wireless pc card back when i had a tibook (chairman adel is using it now), and it needed an ioxperts driver for OS 9 and OS X. (the driver wasn't free, either--something like $15?) there may be freeware drivers by now, but i haven't kept up to date.

thanks butch. checked out google and found the drivers you were referring to. i also found out the brands (PCMCIA WLAN) that are supported by the current drivers. i'll try one card tomorrow.
