Under Applications > Utilities double click 'Airport Setup Assistant' icon and follow directions.
Make sure the ethernet plug coming from your myDSL modem is inserted to the ethernet port of the base station.
Then let us know if it works.

dont configure your airport. you configure your router to pass the connection using DHCP. then your airport should pick it up automatically without any setup.

Assuming the 'Airport (the 1st model)' refers to an Airport Base Station (graphite). Do let us know if not...
The 'Airport Setup Assistant' gives newbies who don't know how to manually set their Airport Base Station other than Apple's Airport Admin Utility a step by step guide to use Airport for wireless networking and internet access.
Upon clicking it gives the user two options:
- Set-up your computer to join an existing Airport newtork. or
- Set-up an Airport Base Station.

Yup, it is the Airport with the graphite apple. We got it year 2000. And I remember it being one of the firsts in the Phils.
And yes, the message you placed above is what was shown.
I filled up the following:
1.) Username
2.) Password
3.) DNS Server
4.) Domain name.
What else can I do?
