    Default Networking and DSL

I have an eMac connected to SubicTel DSL with a vendor furnished "router?"
I would like to network this with an iMac that is currently undergoing repair.
    Is this possible?
    If so, how?

    what "router" brand is it?

yes it is possible to network your imac with your emac...

you would need either an ethernet cable based network or a wireless based network.
ethernet is generally cheaper than wifi.

the choice really is up to you.

The router is a Prestige 600 connected by ethernet cable to my eMac.
How would I go about adding my iMac to the network?

By connecting an ethernet cable from the iMac to the router. Wait, is that a four-port router?

I think what you have is the dsl modem.
What you would need is a router. Unless you have access to the settings of the modem, you'll need one. If you do have access, a hub is the only thing you need.

on the zyxel page, it says it's a dsl modem/router... do you know the exact model name, as the prestige 600 is a series and not the exact model name, as to what i'm getting on their website?
either that or is an older unsupported model already.

How much does Subictel charge for the DSL Connection?

No, it is ISP provided, has only one out port. It is a Prestige 600
