Default MyDSL problem connecting to websites

I've noticed that my PLDT DSL connection is having difficulty connecting to a number of websites including this one since Friday. I need to reload a site's address a number of times before it loads (sometimes it doesn't). This same problem was reported on the Yahoo PLDT MyDSL Mailing List last week.

I called up their tech support group to inquire abt this, and they instructed me that i just need to reset my password (huh?). Any MyDSL subscribers having the same problem? I suspect that this might be a proxy server issue, but not quite sure. The tech support people didn't give me proxy server settings--either bec they don't have a proxy server or they don't know the settings yet.

My connection: OS 10.3.4 behind an Airport wireless connection on MyDSL Pro. Location is QC.

    TIA

I've been having exactly the same problem.

I'm not sure if this really helped or not but I turned on the DHCP server on my router and turned on dynamic IP addressing on my book. I got into more sites but there are still others which I can't get into.

Same here. Their DNS might be screwy.

Buset talaga PLDT . Come September, I'm switching to either Eastern or Sky. In the meantime, what can we do about it?

I have the same setting as Gabe's.

It might be their DNS servers. I am using four DNS servers -- two from PLDT, one from Imperial College and one from UP -- and don't experience these problems so far.

Problems with myDSL, what else is new? ;-)

I'm having the same problem myself, and so do two of my friends (using WinXP Pro).
