This is a discussion on My PLDT myDSL connection is very slow within the Wired-NOT Archives forums, part of the Archived Threads category; I have also conducted this speed test here in our office. Heres their stats: Internet provider-DIGITELONE. (i havent heard of ...
if you guys can't stand ur current pldt dsl speed & service, you can either switch to another isp or try to complain with DTI thru text. Believe it or not, they do act on your complaints and do a better job at making pldt give you better service.![]()
here's mine and i'm paying 3k for this. what should i do?!
When i get my 'speak n surf' im sure kolelat ako dito sa forum hehe. But 3k for 792kb? Id also be disappointed just as you are. I feel very fortunate right now for having an internet connection in our office with almost above average speed. And because its free.
Anybody heard of this ISP provider which is DIGITELONE?
try to check your speed with other speed test sites including pldtdsl.com then if you consistenly get way below your upto speed, try at least once to complain with 172 & [email protected]. Then if they don't give you a proper response (note: do not be satisfied if they give you only 80% of your 'upto' speed which should be more than 2,000 kb/s), next step is to go the DTI route. Just check out their website where you can find what number to text for your concern.
So I emailed PLDT and asked them about what speeds I should be receiving etc. This is what they replied:
I checked their site and saw plan 999 also has a speed of up to 512kbps. Damn PLDT has been charging me an extra 500 pesos for the same service I could get with 999 bucks!Your plan 1500 has a speed of “up to 512kbps.” This package, being phased out, is not included in our Speed Increase.
Please give us at least 4-5 days to look for the solution to your slowdown problem.
From the root DIGITEL; I bet it's the same company that owns Sun Cellular.Anybody heard of this ISP provider which is DIGITELONE?
