Default MSI Ethernet to Powerline HomePlug Adapter

    EE14H- Ethernet to Powerline HomePlug Adapter (EC14H x 2)

Saw this very interesting device in the pages of PC Buyers guide. I'm so amazed that you can use the electrical outlet to network. An excellent alternative to WiFi for a simple home setup, and a lot cheaper too! Priced at around P3,150 each. 10Base-T speeds. Also comes in USB versions. Has anyone tried one of these? It says "Up to 5000 square feet home"

I was thinking if it would be possible to network 2 houses a few hundred meters from each other with this

it probably depends on whether the 2 houses share the same power infrastructure.
