    Default Goodbye Destiny, Hello Eastern!

I finally got rid of Destiny. I'm now on Eastern EvO DSL. The package I availed of is the EvO PRO: P2,000/mo., 256kbps, burstable to 2Mbps

It's been barely 5 minutes since the modem was installed and I'm already filled with joy.

    Check it out!

He may already be in transit, Tom, en route to SF.

You may look up Eastern's packages & phone numbers here.

    Good luck! Hope you're covered.

Sorry to disappoint, Arel. I'm still here. My flight leaves tonight pa. But thanks for giving Tom the link. Funny how so many people read PhilMUG. So many buddies in iChat are asking how the weather in SF is right now, thinking I've left already, thanks to this post.

@Tom: you can call 300-8000 to inquire if your area is covered. Unfortunately, I don't have a suki for you to look for.

@ibook300bb: I used the speed test of Bandwidthplace.com. I just ran a test again. Resulted in 1Mbps. There are times it goes as low as 180kbps. It's still so much better than my old connection.

So glad to be rid of Destiny. How liberating!

A burst is the contrast of streaming. It's intermittent.

    Thanks ruger,
