GlobeQuest WIZ
hi folks,
i'm here at Greenbelt 3 and I'm having a hard time getting the login screen to GlobeQuest WIZ. Anyone know if WIZ is working here? I'm on airbourn right now.

@dust: AFAIK, there's at least two access points for WIZ there... one downstairs, accessible between starbucks and sbc, and another at the 3rd floor food choices area. Based on experience, the one upstairs is more consistent than the one downstairs.
BTW... ang galing ng blog mo dun sa kabila ah...

I was at Greenbelt 3 earlier today, and I also could "see" the Globequest signal but that's about it ... no login screen, no nothing.
Hooray for Airborne Access at Seattle's

I had the same problem at GB3 two weekends ago. I thought it was an issue with my APE or my network configs, but everything seemed to be in order (I could connect to "other" routers). It was a similar situation with the Globe WIZ in Greenhills as well.
Mac user unfriendly?

I had the same problem when I was in SBC yesterday. ..good signal but no login screen.
It's a good thing I had an old Airborne Access card in my wallet:P (for geeks only)

@berniej: thanks for the head's up. the other side is fertile ground for story telling.
I believe my iLife adds a lot of value.
@vic: same here man. A fellow Mac user mentioned that GlobeQuest change it's port settings. I honestly see no point why they need to do this. Needless to say it was an embarassing experience. Not to mention AA's so slow and has weird billing behavior.
@gbbles: it used to work a few weeks ago. dunno why GlobeQuest had to mess up their setup.

@pipoyg: I also remember the two dudes with the PowerBooks & the lady with the iBook. I was wondering if there was a smart mob PhilMUG meeting there. I was trying to get on WIZ at Starbucks GB3.
