    Default The Filling Station Hotspot

Tried the Filling Station hotspot in Camp John Hay in Baguio. I can connect, but after a few seconds, the signal drops to two bars, then my iBook gets disconnected. Try again after a minute or so, then same loop. I'm wondering if this has something to do with Airport software update problems, or the connection there just sucks. I was about 5 feet away from the wireless router.

Hi butchm, is it supposed to be a free/open hotspot? They might have configured authentication to restrict unauthorized accesses.

I think the Filling Station hotspot is provided by Airborne Access.

Yup, it's Airborne Access, and I was able to log in very briefly. Guess I have to try with other hotspots to see if it's a problem with my iBook or the hotspot.
