Faster myDSL?
I dunno about you other PLDT myDSL Personal Plan subscribers, but I've been getting 50% more speed for the past few days. Is this the speed update some of you guys were talking about on another thread a week ago? (Hey, I'm not complaining. More! More!)
I know extremyks is getting the same benefit; we have the same plan and are in the same area. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi Adel! mind if I ask what your myDSL plan is? I am seriously considering switching from Destiny to PLDT MyDSL. This Destiny is such a pain in the behind. Four days down and when its up..it crawls like a dead-drunk snail. Dial-ups are far better than this crap.

If I may quote myself:

I used to be Destiny. Moved because of similar reasons.

Dunno if it's just my connection but myDSL Pro is still holding steady at 43KBps to 46KBps here. No extra speed for me (grrr). Maybe PLDT is doing another round of "upgrades" and just left the pipe open at a max of 384Kbps for all myDSL users for the time being.

Henjie, Guys, As usual I am confused:sick:
Awright, one step at a time ...could you please tell me ...
what is 43KBps ??
then what is 384Kbps ??
(This is what I am paying for in my yecchy Globe DSL !!)
then there is 8192000 bps that according to Globe, I am connected at (I see in always in the internet connect window) !! Slow or slower, it is always the same bps number !!!
The numbers seem fast, ...it ain't, and I know I am getting suckered somewhere !!

hi pips,
my friend who is working at PLDT's commercial projects told me that
by july 1, 2004 (next month), all dsl subscribers will have their
bandwith doubled. e.g. mine is 384kbps => 768kbps. Hope this is true.
well, she was the one who told me that there's a free pc for netcafe
dsl connection. and i got it.
that's all.
DYOONIES
Could this be it?
Have noticed increased speed too, though erratic and not doubled.
