Default Compatibility issue with APE and D-Link 7I-713P

Hi guys, anyone of you using a D-Link DI-713P and APE. Tried using my APE to extend my home network, after configuring my APE using the Admin Utility (placing all the MAC Address of the router, making it as a remote base station, etc) with no success as I still cannot connect ot the internet, but using the DI-713P as a wireless router has no problems as I can use both my powerbooks and my PC seemlessly. I was successful in using the APE as an extender with a Linksys WRTG54 for our clinic. Any suggestions guys? Is there an incompatibility issue with the 713P with the APE? Looked at the D-Link website but saw nothing. :qmark::qmark::qmark::qmark:

Try configuring your Dlink using your PC and allow your APE to be an extender. I think you should connect a cable from your PC to your Dlink to configure it properly. I have a Dlink wireless router before and i didnt have any problem using my Airport express as an extender. Linksys based on my experience is more compatible with APE than Dlink
