Bluetooth Mouse + Airport Question...
im really itching to get one of those 2 button + scrollwheel bluetooth mice that i saw at apple center (srp 3.5k)... im wondering if anybody else is using that model mouse and if there are any interferance problems with airport? im a heavy wifi user and connection issues with the mouse would be a big deal, on the other hand im really getting sick of lugging along my 'wired' microsoft optical. im either thinking of getting that or one of those dongled rf mice... your suggestions would be appreciated.

Just add 800 PHP to your budget for the apple BT mouse and you could get a Logitech MX 1000 wireless laser mouse! This mouse earns very high scores in various reviews. For best results, download the latest software for Mac from the logitech website.

I'm not using that particular model but my wife was using Apple's Wireless Keyboard & Mouse which also operates via Bluetooth. We've never experienced interference problems with our AirPort Express although the response time of the mouse was slow, especially after waking it from sleep.
I personally use Logitech's V500 mouse that operates via RF and I haven't experienced interference either. The device that causes some mild interference at our place is our Panasonic cordless phone. I don't know if I am just being paranoid but whenever I use our cordless phone while I'm close to my PB it seems that the AirPort signal seems to weaken.

I'm using a Apple wireless KBD + Mouse and I do echo hubes observation that the mouse does take a while to wake up from sleep mode (minimum of 30 seconds). I'm still looking for a RadTech BT500 mini but the listed dealer there in the Philippines doesn't seem to have any in stock.

salamat for the input, based on what youve suggested i think ill consider the rf mouse... the only thing i dont like about it is the neccessity to plug in the dongle everytime. ill ask the folks at apple center if i can test the mouse first with everything activated...
