question,
my brother can't configure his airport express to work with his window based machine... he is using XP... anyone who did this and can help me out? Thanks!
To summarize, the airport express was installed... he keeps getting the prompt cant access wireless networking subsystem... so whenever he scans the network the express can't be detected... but his presario recognizes the apple network...
Thanks and God bless! ! !

im experiencing a different problem in my case. i have a PB & a desktop pc at home. and everytime i try to connect online i can get a connection but i cant seem to make use of both the PB & PC at the same time. if i use the pc 1st, it would work but to be able to work on my PB i would have to turn off airport 1st then on before i can have a connection on the PB. and if i use my PB 1st if i try to use my PC laater i would hve to restart my PC 1st before i can use it online.(even though you can see that the PC was able to get a strong signal for the wireless) im actually using the portable netgear 54 mbps wireless usb 2 adapter on my PC. (its very handy ksi eh). do you think its the wireless usb adapter w/c is at fault. although as i said it is working. its just that i hate reseting the computer everytime i use the PB (online 1st) before using the PC. can anybody give me an idea on what is happening here.
i would appreciate any input from you guys.... thanks

I just ogt mine and during the installation process, there was a note that if you want the base station to work with a PC you had to have exactly 13 characters for the password. Try changing your passwords. Hope this helps.

"If you use Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP), you may find that the AirPort network doesn't accept the passwords entered by Windows users. To fix this problem, try using the equivalent network password. Open OS X's AirPort Admin utility, select the Base Station from the list, and click on Configure. Enter the Base Station password in the dialog box that pops up, and then click on the Password icon at the top of the window. A new window will appear showing the network equivalent password that you can use on the PC."
