IceCreme for the iPod, Radtech screen saver, and Gatsby oil-free wipes (would you believe?!?) are the best for removing fingerprints and other surface dirt. The wristrug (although kinda baduy-looking as per Rex Navarette ) is really handy in protecting the powerbook from bad bad bad wrist-leaners like myself. For the keyboard, iSkin is always good for keeping the elements from finding their way underneath it. But! Should the elements find their way in-- aha-- nothing, and I mean NOTHING, does the job better of picking them out than my good old super pointy tweezers
Two-port "Goodman" brand generic USB PCI Card. A steal for only P450 at Silicon Valley, it made my 1997 Power Mac 6500 keep up with the latest tech. Now I have a nice Canon photo printer that works well with it, I can now hotsync my Sony Clie and I can also play some games using my Gravis Destroyer gamepad--all using this USB wonder
16MB ATI Rage 128 video card. Set me back by only P700 at Ynzal's last Christmas sale. Now my Power Mac running on 225 MHz PowerPC 603ev processor can get away with running games and software whose minimum system requirements are supposed to be at least a 350MHz G3 Mac. Even that cool Marine Aquarium screensaver runs well.
Yamaha SCSI CD Writer. Another steal at P1K only at HMR. Now occupies the former vacant drive bay of my 6500. Who would have thought that anyone can burn CD's on a computer originally manufactured in 1997?
They all make my old Mac feel like new again, that's why I find them indispensable.
I'd say that klearscreen and radtech powersleevz have same my powerbook more than a hundred times. Without klearscreen, I'd be stuck with a fingerprint plagued powerbook. arty:
