    Default www.apple.com

We all go to the source, www.apple.com, one way or the other.

    1. How often do you check the Apple website?
    2. Which are your favorite pages/sections that you visit over and over again?
    3. Do you check other country-specific sites of Apple/Macintosh?
    3. And while we're at it, what other Mac-related sites you find interesting/important to view and check out just as often?

i visit apple.com about once a week to check out the "specials" in the apple store (that's where i got my tibook refurb for half-price in 2002).

my other favorite mac sites include macintouch, macfixit, powerpage, and powerbookcentral.

    Hmm... good question...

I go about 2x a week, or sometimes more, if I need to show someone Mac computer configurations. Just like the other day, a friend was asking for advice on buying a PowerBook, so I showed her the PB configs at apple.com...

Sometimes, I go if there are new Movie Trailers that I want to check out too...

    about 2-3 X a week, sometimes more...

Actually, just seeing all the MacStuff at the AppleCentre in MegaMall and scanning their listing with the prices and all, is enough na !

Looking at the 'millions' of MacThings in the Apple website can be very frustrating, specially the portions on the Apple/Education loan packages.... ... just imagine paying for an entry level Mac of whatever type and just paying $30 to $50+ monthly. If that were available here, I'd get me a few more Macs !!

T..Th..that does it, :P ...my, my bestest Christmas wish for PhilMUGgers & PinoyMac'ers is for similar Apple loans be available here in the 'Pinas !!!

...paging Lawrence, Bong, Cherry(LMK), Senco L. etc., ...make it so or else some MAC 'lobby' movement/foundation will evolve and leave you out in the PCold !

ho-hum, DJ, I just check it out once in a while, salivate and ....

    Merry ChristMass Guys !!

I check out the www.apple.com site almost everyday. My first stop is almost always the pro and business section. After that, I check the iPod and iTunes pages. And then see the song collections via iTunes. And then move to hardware/software stuff. Download some software to try. And then log on to my .mac account, and then watch some trailers, and then go to the OS X page. Mac-related sites that I visit include MacWorld, MacFixIt, VersionTracker, MacZealots and a couple of other sites.

After a number of visits to the www.apple.com site, I'm beginning to appreciate the elegant design, easy navigation and streamlined way with which the site is organized. It is so painless to navigate and easy/quick to go to the specific areas of the sites and check out the information one is looking for. Was the site ever this way since?

I check out the site about 3X a week.

My favorite section is the store, where I can customize my new theoretical mac and find out the price of which is just way out of reach for me.

just goes to show that they are aware of what's going on and that they care.

on the darkside's website, there's no mention of the disaster whatsoever.

Just out of plain curiosity, and this question is addressed mainly to the web designers -- what software/s is/are used in creating the Apple website? What hardware/s is/are used to house the site/server? How big is the site (in terms of terrabytes)? How many people do you think are required to maintain and update and upgrade the many different sections of Apple's website?
