Where in Singapore?

I might have a chance to go to Singapore next week and would like to look for Apple products (iBook, pBook, iPod, etc.). Would appreciate it if someone can tell me where I should looking for these (store name, location). It would also help if you can tell where I can get the best deal, if ever I decide to get something...

The best deals I found were in Sim Lim Square. Super cheap. I got my X-Skin keyboard protector for the equivalent of PHP700, my colleague got a Cutie FW Enclosure for around P2K. Portables were so cheap (the 12" PB 1.33GHz was less than P90K).

Here's the problem though. My memory (and I'm not talking about RAM). I can't recall the name of the store. All I remember was that it was in some corner, away from the center atrium. It's not a big store. In fact, it hardly looks like a store. More like a stock room with a desk. I don't remember what floor it was on.

I Googled though and came up with the following. It might just be the one (otherwise, just go to Sim Lim and ask around).

I've visited Funan The IT Mall and the Apple Center in Orchard as well. I've found Sim Lim to be cheapest.

If you want to check out an apple store, you can go to Wheelock Place in Orchard road near the Orchard MRT station. I think its like in the 3rd or 4th floor.

I'm actually looking at the iBook or a pBook but since the iMac came out, that added to the confusion. Looking at the apple store website of Singapore, I think they are already selling the new iMac. So I will take a look at that first before deciding which to buy.

The discount card is totally free and gives you a 5% discount off everything. Cool huh?

PLUS you get the 3% GST so you can get your cash back.

My pal in Singapore's been comparing prices. With just the 5% discount, a lot of things come out cheaper over there. ;-)

The only thing is that there's a 6-week waiting list for some of the iPod minis. Plus they didn't have any more Apple caps when I visited. grrr...

Oh, there's also the Mother-of-all-Ships next door... The Crumpler Store. If you can't find the bag you're looking for at Digital Walker, then you can go to Crumpler Store and they have every design, every color. It's so cool.
